Rotate PDF

Turn sideways or upside-down pages the right way up. Nothing is uploaded.

Your files never leave your device

How it works

This tool fixes pages that came out sideways or upside down — a constant annoyance with scanners and phone-scanned documents. All pages start selected, so straightening a whole document is two clicks: hit Rotate right (or left, or Flip 180°) and download. To fix only certain pages, click their thumbnails to choose exactly which ones turn, and rotate different pages by different amounts before downloading once.

The thumbnails preview each rotation live, so you can see the document is right before you save it. Rotation is lossless — pages are not re-rendered or recompressed, text stays selectable, and image quality is untouched. The change is written into the PDF itself, so the pages stay upright in every viewer, not just this one.

As with every tool here, the file is processed by your own browser and never uploaded: no account, no watermark, no limits, and safe for private documents. You can confirm in your browser's developer tools that no file data leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page, or different pages differently?

Yes. Click thumbnails to select any subset of pages and rotate them, then change the selection and rotate other pages by a different amount. Each page keeps its own rotation until you download.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Rotation only updates each page's orientation flag inside the PDF — nothing is re-rendered, so text and images are byte-for-byte the same quality.

Will the rotation stick in other PDF readers?

Yes. The rotation is saved into the file itself, so Adobe Reader, browsers, phones and printers all show the corrected orientation.
